AdGATE + Adsend = 90% time saving

Adsend was launched in the UK in April 2009, and since then has become the Number One press ad validation and delivery solution for many design agencies and repro shops due to its ease of use and value for money.

Vio are now delighted to announce the release of AdGATE, a simple to install automation server application that can take Adsend users to the next level of efficiency and savings. AdGATE provides the ‘glue’ between your existing workflow solution or booking system and the Adsend service, allowing you to drive the job ticket, PDF upload and ad sending process without ever logging on to Adsend.com . When it comes to uploading ads, the process takes place in the background freeing up your workstation thus allowing you to batch process jobs easily.

Put simply, the solution removes the repetition of completing internal job tickets and then rekeying them when you come to deliver through Adsend. What’s more, when you are filling out your job brief, the solution can electronically hand over the relevant live ad specs to make sure your artworkers know exactly what they should be creating.

Once a press-ready PDF has been approved, the solution can automatically upload the job ticket information and the PDF from your workflow system straight into Adsend. As your ad completes each stage of its journey, AdGATE feeds back status updates through preflighting, delivery and confirmation from the publisher to your internal systems.

A significant saving of over 4 minutes (90%) per ad delivered has been evidenced by our first installations. If you deliver just 150 ads per week, AdGATE could save you the equivalent of one week per month, not to mention the cost of human errors.

Integrations already completed include Encode, Filemaker Pro, a bespoke application running on an old IBM AS/400 and a home-grown web based application. Easily configurable XML mapping tools within AdGATE allow us to integrate to pretty much any third party system.
